Claudia Bartra, Chief Financial Officer at LifeGaines Medical and Aesthetics and La Granja Restaurants, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in management.
Ms. Bartra came to America with her family from Peru. There, her father was a businessman, and when they came to America, he invested in a family restaurant, where she began working and consequently unearthed her entrepreneurial spirit. Ms. Bartra attributes her success to her dedication, passion, and perseverance. She views every individual who has previously worked or currently works for her as a big part of the success of her ventures. For as long as Ms. Bartra can remember, she has wanted to prove that women are just as hard-working as men, which motivated her excellent work ethic. Prior to becoming a renowned individual in her field, Ms. Bartra earned a Bachelor’s Degree in restaurant and hotel management from Peru University. She then received a Bachelor of Business Administration from San Martin College in 1993.
The highlight of Ms. Bartra’s career has been successfully opening and managing all of her restaurants. She is proud to be a successful woman, as she is able to serve as a role model for her daughter. Currently, Ms. Bartra is excelling as the chief financial officer and owner of Body20 East Spanish River and the chief financial officer of LifeGaines Medical and Aesthetics and La Granja Restaurants, which has more than 50 locations across Florida. Active in her civic community, Ms. Bartra has been a gold sponsor for the fashion show at the Ronald McDonald Home and for the Lazos de Amor Foundation. She sponsors Juguetes para Todos, Kids Jam-a-thon, and Ninos Wayuu, as well as local art and culture. She is also a member of the La Granja Road to Success Scholarship Fund and Project Leadership with Mayor Scott Brook.
As a testament to her success, Ms. Bartra was named one of the Women of Worth by the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce in 2016. Likewise, she received the CV Businesswoman Award for the Best Woman-Owned Peruvian Restaurant Chain by CV Magazine in 2016 and 2017, and she was named the Peruvian Business Woman of the Year by Taste of Peru in 2014. She also received recognition as an Example of Dedication, Work Quality, and Success for La Granja from Almuerzos y Cenas Magazine and was listed as one of the 12 Spanish Women of Distinction by Latin Style Magazine in 2015. Going forward, Ms. Bartra plans to watch her children grow and become successful. She wants them to find their paths in life and will support whatever profession they choose.
